Dorthe holds a Master's degree (cand.mag.) in German and Danish. She has a long career in educational leadership, primarily at Niels Brock, and has just taken up the position of Director of Niels Brock's new course department; most recently she was principal of Handelsgymnasiet NVG. Throughout her career Dorthe has worked closely with didactics and pedagogical development. For many years, as a teacher, she was responsible for teacher training (pædagogikum) and has worked with all pedagogical facets of teaching – not least classroom management, which has been a central focus of her work.
QTI founder: Dorte Ågård
Dorte has worked with QTI since 2011 and has adapted and validated QTI for a Danish context. She is a classroom-management researcher and holds a PhD; she is a former senior adviser at Aalborg University and today an independent pedagogical consultant. Over 15 years she has given more than 500 talks, courses and pedagogical days on classroom management and motivation for upper-secondary schools across the country. She is particularly interested in exploring and developing the modern teacher role, teacher authority and authoritative classroom management.
QTI consultant: Lene Niebuhr Andersen
Lene holds a Master's in upper-secondary education (gymnasiepædagogik) and, as a cand.mag., teaches social studies, religion and economics at Nyborg Gymnasium. Lene has written a number of publications for upper-secondary teaching and is co-author of the book "Klasseledelse fra teori til praksis". Lene loves development – she is involved in numerous pedagogical projects, especially the classroom-management project at Nyborg Gymnasium – and alongside her teaching job she runs QTI certification courses.
QTI consultant: Marie-Louise Bach
Marie-Louise is a cand.mag. in social studies and history at Nyborg Gymnasium. She loves teaching and helping the teaching, the students and the teachers succeed. Marie-Louise is also involved in the classroom-management project in Nyborg and is co-author of the book "Klasseledelse fra teori til praksis". In addition, she runs QTI certification courses.
