Certification course

The next certification course takes place at Nyborg Gymnasium on Friday 24 April, 9.45–15.30

Before you can use QTI, your school must first be certified, after which you receive a licence and can manage the process yourselves. The one-day certification course equips you to use the tool. The programme covers the following points:

• Research-based knowledge about classroom management – the Steering-Contact model as a pedagogical framework
• The practical use of QTI: creating users and completing the questionnaire
• The report and the profiles: how a profile is built and how to read the three profiles
• Dialogue about QTI: the development conversation about the three profiles
• Clarifying how you will use QTI at your school

Participants are educational leaders, vice-principals, pedagogical leaders or others responsible for pedagogical development work. It is a great advantage to have more than one person at the school with insight into QTI, the Steering-Contact model and conversations about the profiles. We therefore recommend that at least two from the same school attend, possibly the entire leadership if, for example, everyone holds appraisal interviews (MUS).

Licence and prices

• The certification course costs DKK 6,000 per participant. DKK 10,000 for two participants. You pay a maximum for four participants from the same school.
• A licence costs DKK 9,000 per school year per school for unlimited use.

Pedagogical day about classroom management

It is a good idea to begin a programme — where you use QTI and focus on classroom management — with an event for all the school's teachers, e.g. a half or full pedagogical day. It gives a shared pedagogical language and theoretical and practical insight into how teachers, through their classroom management, can influence students' motivation and wellbeing.
